Hi Carol,

Mike and I wanted to send you a enormous thank you for last weekend….I couldn’t go on with life another minute until I sent you a note to say what a really, really relaxing and lovely time we had in Herman and at your B&B.  You are such a super person and so talented!  I’m impressed at how active and engaged you are in life, especially after the death of your husband.  You truly are a trooper and you and Mary Ellen should go on the road together as a “comedy duo”…you two can be so entertaining.  We certainly had a nice bunch of folks for breakfast – the Brits always make conversation interesting. 

 I just can’t wait to visit again – what a relaxing little community and I do hope it prospers because it really has the potential to become a great little historic tourist community – beautiful and close to two major cities and on the Amtrak stop – what more could you ask for.  I’d open some kind of shop there in a minute!  I know people like to get away from the hustle and bustle BUT they always like to shop somewhere different. 

 Take care and thanks again for your hospitality!  It was truly wonderful and I do hope we all cross paths once again.
